THE PROJECT
A harbour bath on a timber pier: three shingle-clad saunas on stilts above the Øresund.
01 · THE SITE
The end of an old ferry pier, where the water is calm in the morning and wild by evening.
02 · THE BRIEF
Saunas for the whole town, open all year, with nothing new driven into the seabed.
03 · THE RESULT
The pier stands on its old piles, and the saunas sit on it like upturned boats. The shingles have already silvered on the sea side.
