THE PROJECT
A family house of two timber gables at the edge of a beech wood.
01 · THE SITE
An old orchard in Österlen, an hour from Copenhagen across the bridge, with beech woods on two sides.
02 · THE BRIEF
Room for a family and their visitors, with a quiet half for work and a loud half for living.
03 · THE RESULT
Two gables, one for each half, joined by a glazed hall. The untreated larch is turning gold before it turns grey.
